Well the Nursery World conference date is fast approaching and I am going through various ideas for speeches in my head.

I intend to talk about the similarities between childminders and other early years professionals now we all use the Eyfs.
However there is one big difference - TIME!
There are lots of issues surrounding childminders and time... we have the time to look after children but we work on our own and also need to find time to do the paperwork, time to manage partnerships, time to look after our own families... I believe this more than anything is why so many childminders are struggling with the Eyfs.
I have been invited to the conference as the voice of the childminder and I want to make sure I say the right things... so if anyone who reads this blog has ideas or suggestions on the subject, please let me know!
