Little ones need care, play and learning... slightly older children need learning, play and care.
Do you see where I am coming from?
As children get older and mature into their secure routines, they start to look to us for more challenge, further mental and physical stimulation and increased opportunities to use their imaginations.
They are less reliant on adult support but they still need us to make sure the environment and resources meet their needs.
What we need to be doing is to offer them secure, safe, healthy learning opportunities, through play... and this is what I have tackled in e-book 43.
